A superb feature on this truck is the emissions-free engine! There are NO particulate filters to deal with, NO D.E.F. to add, NO regeneration cycles to wait on... just a simple and proven engine! This engine cranks right up, it has a very even idle, there are no abnormal noises, vibrations, or smoke, and it easily gets this truck up to highway speeds! All the gears on the automatic transmission are engaging properly, shifting smoothly, and pulling strong. The truck accelerates evenly, rides straight, and brakes even. The cab has straight bodylines and the original cab paint is shiny and healthy. The cab interior smells good, the dashboard has no cracks, the vinyl and moldings are in good shape, and the windshield has no cracks, chips, or bull"s eyes. The AC blows cold, all the gauges and controls are operable, and its warning systems are operational.
The Haul All HA14R collection body is functioning dependably. There are no evident leaks on any of the cylinders, pump, or hoses, and all the control levers are easy to use. As the video illustrates, the bucket descends, rises, and compacts properly, the tailgate moves smoothly, and the hoist lifts the bed effortlessly! This bucket has a capacity of 1 yard, and the bed has a total capacity of 14 yards (13.6 yards)! The tire tread is around 90% and the front tread is around 40%. Furthermore, all its lighting and warning buzzer are fully operable.
As can be expected on a pre-owned refuse truck, there are some details and flaws present. Known details are: a tear on the driver side of the seat (although not exposed since it has a seat cover), and dings and dents on the bed. Most of this details are evident on the pictures and video. Details aside, this truck has impressed us with its overall appearance and performance. We would not hesitate to drive this truck cross-country at moment"s notice!
