This truck is equipped with the highly regarded Cummins B-Series Turbo Diesel. These engines are known for being bulletproof workhorses! The engine cranks instantly, sounds great, and it has no smoke or abnormal noises. Another excellent feature is that this truck IS NOT equipped with emission systems that later models came with. There are NO particulate filters, NO Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF), and NO regeneration cycles to deal with! Just a simple, inexpensive to own, and easy to maintain powertrain!
The Cummins engine is coupled with an Allison Automatic Transmission. All the gears on the transmission are engaging properly, pulling strong, and shifting smoothly. The complete powertrain performs very well, with a smooth ride, steady acceleration, straight steering, and even braking. Take a look at the video to see this truck in action!
The aesthetic condition of this truck is genuinely above par. The cab has straight and smooth lines, all the doors open and close effortlessly, and the original cab paint is shiny all around. The cab"s interior also stands out; the dashboard is like new, the floor vinyl has no tears or wear through, and the moldings and panels are in good shape. The windshield has no cracks or bull"s eyes, and the AC is also in tip top working order!
An excellent feature on this truck is the trusted and proven Vactor Ramjet water jetter system! We have tested this system extensively and have been very impressed with its performance and condition! The Myers PTO driven pump can reach 2,000 psi easily! The hourmeter only shows 1,922 hours and we do believe the hourmeter is accurate based on the condition, performance, appearance, and the fact that this is a 1-owner truck. The hydraulic hose reel works properly, the wind guide synchronizes nicely, and all the controls and safety systems are operable. Further, there are no leaks on the tank, the hose, or the pump! Take a look at the video to see this impressive system in action! Note: the jetting tip shown in the video is not included with the jetter.
As can be expected on a pre-owned jetter, there are some details and flaws present. Known details are: the rear tires will need replacing relatively soon, the driver"s seat has some tears on it, and the expected dings and scratches here and there. Most of this details are evident on the pictures and video. Details aside, this jetter has truly impressed us with its condition and performance! We have driven and tested this jetter extensively and would not hesitate to drive it cross country at a moment"s notice!
