This is a full disclosure sale. If you have questions call 2 5 1 5 0 8 9 9 4 0 . The truck is located in U Haul Storage Site, Carson St, Fultondale City near Birmingham AL. Inspection and testing can be arranged on the weekend of April 15 and May 13. Truck can be viewed clearly but without physical access from the parking lot of said U-haul.

| “Please read carefully: You are not buying a fully operational truck.This is a rare 1980 Ford C Series Fire Truck from Pierce, with lots of stainless and chrome trimmings. It can be a very good collectors truck or restored as an operable fire truckPaint condition is very good, except for very few spots.Dashboard and seat are in very good condition. (Dashboard have few holes left for aux. removedTruck body, transmission (Allison Automatic and fire pump are all in excellent condition. Pump was certified in 2013, a year before truck was de-comissioned.Engine is a V-8 diesel Caterpillar 3208.What is wrong with the truck?The exhaust turbo blades got frozen, causing excessife exhaust back pressure which blew the passenger side cylinder head gasket. Engine currently runs but with smoke, excessive blow by and no engine power.Please note that when the engine is running the oil pressure is between "L" and "H" on the oil press. gauge, indicating nothing wrong with engine bearings.” |
