Aerialscope is a Heavy Duty Fire Truck preferred by the FDNY, built for toughness and daily use
I Have followed trucks on Ebay for a couple of years and have not seen an Aerialscope listed.
Only 9800 milesAutomatic transmission that shifts wonderfully.

Truck always starts easy even in cold weather (surprisingly)Comes with operation and repair manualsBrakes,steering,batteries,engine,tires,glass all work as they shouldNew bearings on front wheelsFDNY model truck, but was never used by FDNYPerfect work truck, tower can hoist 900lbs safely.Comes with a backup gas powered back hydraulic pump with hoses to operate the tower in case of truck failure (I never fooled with it or tried to connect it) Its probably in the manual.
Seagrave has a program where they take the trucks back and remove the tower and put a new engine/trans cab/body and rebuild and upgrade and remount tower.. see their site for details
Registration / Insurance
I have received questions about this so I will offer this: I registered this as "Historic" in NJ at a cost of $44.plus sales tax. Insurance I have thru a company that does historic vehicles for just under $300 per year.
Other questions:
Was asked if this truck has a pump and water tank, No it doesn"t. The 5 intake if for the piped waterway to the bucket. (truck does have a few lengths of 5 hose on board)
