1998 FORD, 33000 lbs. load capacity.
Was under contract with 6 different used car dealers for their delivery and pick up 3 and 4 cars at a time making trips between Joplin, St.Louis, Oklahoma City, Tulsa Oklahoma, Kansas City etc. Average 450 miles round trips generally. Longest delivery was made from Tulsa to Dallas, Tx.
Truck on average ran in these cities for approx. 20 days a month. Netted after expenses average monthly between $4,200 and $7400. Operated independently. Could have worked 30 days a week if it was listed with the regional towing brokers. Plenty of local work as well but worked mostly hauling cars between auto auctions, between dealer to dealer transports. Local tows were not accepted due to staying busy for 20 days a month and made enough money to pay the bills and have bit time for leisure and fun!
Everything works. Have all the needed tools, straps, chains, etc. for the tows.
Drove this truck to Los Angeles from Joplin with full load of 4 cars and returned with full load with 4 cars. Made a 3000 miles round trip. No issues at all!
Beats working for someone for $3500/month or less! Be your own boss and if wanna push yourself by keep this truck working 30/days a month 24/7 towing, could make over $10,000/month+. Depending how hard one wanna work!
Can be test driven by arranging with the seller. Truck located in the town of Sarcoxie, Missouri approx. 20 miles from Joplin, MO.
Buyer responsible for all transportation and moving costs. Buyer can obtain a one-trip permit to drive it to any city of USA after paying a one-trip permit fee of $15.00. This way no need to register before driving it if the buyer is not from Missouri.
As a standard policy on eBay... It is being sold on AS IS and WHERE IS basis without any expressed or implied warranties of any kind. I don"t have the mileage on it because the truck is in Sarcoxie, MO., and I"m in California. I have to make arrangements with the prospective buyer to arrange to have access to the truck for inspection and test drive through someone who will provide access to the property.
Aluminum alloy bed and overhead car carrier as well. All hydraulics work like they should. No issues of any kind.
Needs a good wash and cleaning as the truck has been sitting for over 2 years as I closed the business and too far to operate a business in Missouri and living in Los Angeles area!
