Up for sale is a well kept 1983 Ford F800 bucket truck. I used it to trim trees but I don"t need it anymore. It is equipped with the 5FI-52PBI Hi-Ranger boom. Working height is 57ft. CDL class truck. The engine is a ford 429 v8 gas and was recently completely overhauled. It runs extremely well. The clutch and transmission are strong and tight. It was a fleet owned line service truck before I owned it and it has always been very well maintained. I recently put new hydraulic hoses and filters on it. I had the pump off and had it checked for flow and pressure. It has new rear tires and very nice fronts. The front wheel bearings were recently repacked. It has excellent brake pads and shoes. I changed the transmission oil. It has a good heater, no a/c. The odometer is the older style and only has 5 digits showing 96,000 miles. It may be 196,000. It is a lighter truck for the reach and is fairly turf friendly. This is a very smooth operating boom. It was a pleasure to operate. It comes with a bucket cover and 2 or 3 full body harnesses and safety cords if you want them. It has a set of tire chains that go with it. They are like new and have had very little use. It has a reese hitch and trailer plug. For an older truck it has been very well taken care of. I am very thorough about maintenance and have been good to this truck. Its a great buy.
