2007 Ford F650 XLT Rollback Tow Truck with only 82,000 miles. Cummins/Allison, Century 21 foot Steel Bed. We had the truck built for us in 2006, it will not win any shows, but is a workhorse. We specifically had it built with black toolboxes, steel wheels, etc. Our drivers don"t need anything flashy. The miles are low as the truck was only used for law enforcement rotation calls. The interior, paint and graphics are all in pretty good shape as it has always been kept in a carport out of the sun except for the 1-2 times a day the truck was used.
The truck was maintained very well, whatever it needed was done at the time, which is not much because of the mileage. It always sailed right through the annual CHP inspection with no problem. The truck is being sold with some equipment, but some was transferred to our new truck.
Why would we sell a truck with such low mileage? Because California. As we understand, the truck will have to be off the road in 2022. We would have kept this for another decade or two and been fine with the amount of miles we put on it. But selling now gives somebody in California enough time to wear it out before retirement if they do high miles, or somebody out of state to get a good deal on a truck that still has several hundred thousand miles left in it.
The truck has all of the normal wear and tear you"d expect for it"s age and once a day use, but there isn"t anything on the truck that doesn"t work as designed. The wheel lift was only used a few times a year if we got two separate rotation calls at the same time. Please send a message or call me if you have any other questions or need more information.
