For sale is a 1974 Ford l9000 tandem axle truck the truck has a Cummins NTC 855 cubic inch turbo charged 290 horsepower engine 10-speed transmission Hendrickson walking beam suspension the truck was sold new in Texas and was used as a road tractor for several years until around 1980 when a fire fighting equipment company bought the truck and turned it into a tanker. Since then it has sat in the local volunteer fire department in a climate-controlled building not seeing much use at all. it has been meticulously maintained for the last 30 some years. The tires are all in excellent condition not showing any signs of age or wear. Everything works on the truck as it should with no issues the truck is virtually rust free with only signs of light surface rust in a few areas underneath no major rust at all, doors are very clean, floors are good the only thing that I can complain about is that it does smoke some while idling but cleans up under a load. I have only used it a few times to haul water and no longer need the truck. Shipping could be a possibility depending upon where you"re located at if you are interested in having it shipped please contact me. Thanks for looking!
