Up for auction is a Low Mileage 2012 Freightliner Cascadia CA125DC Twin Screw Semi Truck with a Cummins ISX 450HP and a 10 Speed Eaton Fuller Manual Transmission. This truck has damage to the passengers cab corner, passengers fuel tank and passengers door. We drove this truck 120 miles and it goes straight down the road does not pull and operates like it should. The front axle is a Meritor 12,000- 1st- 40,000 2nd- 40,000. The GVW is 52,000 lbs. It has a sliding 5th wheel, inter axle diff lock, air ride, air brakes, dual air seats, tilt, cruise, A/C (ice cold), 12V power outlet, heated power mirrors, cd player, block heater. 3.55 rear ratio, 180 wheelbase, production date: 09/11. The drivers side has a 120 gallon aluminum fuel tank. The passengers side has an 80 gallon aluminum fuel tank- this is the tank that is damaged. What happened with this truck is the trailer it was towing jack knifed and hit the passengers rear cab corner and went into a ditch and tore the front bumper off. Here is what the truck needs to be fixed properly:
-Needs a section of the exhaust stack pipe that is bent and broke
-Cab corner is dented and pushed in and the passengers door is dented and won"t open
-The diamond plate shield that covers the DPF filter and top step are dented
-Front bumper assembly missing
- 80 gallon aluminum fuel tank crack/dent
We have the side corner ferring trim that attaches to the roof ferring but it was broken off from the truck(see pics). The steer tires are around 80% and the rear tires all look around 50% tread left. The DEF tank is not damaged it is just the passengers side fuel tank that is. This truck can be driven home and fixed at your leisure, it goes straight down the road when you take your hands off the wheel. The interior is clean and seating and paneling are in good shape.
