VERY UNIQUE Truck and Truly One-of-a-Kind.
So, why are we selling? The answer is simply that it"s more truck than we need. I purchased it earlier this year. We"ve only put about 25 miles on it since it arrived here in Denver. We haven"t even titled or licensed it yet. We ended up purchasing a late model Isuzu last month. ....for a lot more money than this one cost. The Isuzu has a lower GVW rating, but better suits our needs. I"d love to keep both, but can"t justify it. So, the FC-70 is available here.
Let me say from the start, the truck"s not perfect. It"s nearly 14 years old. There"s a little bit of surface rust here and there. Mileage is uncertain. The odometer shows 155K, but intermittently doesn"t work, so its safe to assume it"s seen more than that over the years. It starts easily and powers up without any problems. We replaced the fuel transfer pump earlier this summer. The Allison transmission shifts smoothly and the PTO works just like it should. Bed hydraulics operate well. The hydraulic winch operates as it should. Dual Batteries are Fully Charged. Overhead Light Bar has multiple pre-programmed settings. Truck also has work lights and flashers. Tires are in good shape.
Truck has a Great Look and definitely Turns Heads out on the Road!
It would be great for someone who intermittently has equipment to move or needs a flatbed to pick up heavy freight or bulky materials. If we were going to keep it, we"d remove the rear wheel lift, as it just adds weight and isn"t something we need, but I"ll leave that decision to the new buyer. It should be noted that the rear wheel lift IS NOT a dynamic stinger. It"s fixed. The bed hydraulics are used to adjust elevation. The hydraulic ram does extend in and out, but the lift operation is quite a bit different than what you"ll find on modern units.
Maintenance and Repair Manuals will be included with the sale. Those alone are worth nearly $500.
Truck will be sold with a notarized bill of sale. If the new owner prefers, we can title the truck in Colorado as part of the sale. That"s fine, but the cost of doing so will be added to the sale price. Otherwise, I"m happy to sell the truck to you for less and save us both the extra money and hassle. You"ll just need a dealer in your state to complete the title transfer.
Shipping and Transport costs are the responsibility of the Buyer. I"ll be happy to assist the Buyer in arranging transport, and have worked with a number of private transporters who will do the job at very competitive prices. I"ll also be happy to help with loading on this end.
Truck is Sold AS IS and WHERE IS. No Warranties are Expressed or Implied.
