LOWERED RESERVE!
Video Inspection @ youtube.com/watch?v=j6iStg0g1f4
This is an UNDER CDL 1999 Freightliner FL50 Custom built hotshot hauler with a 5.9L Cummins Engine. Comes with both a gooseneck trailer, and tag trailer hitches. This was a meticulously maintained dream project truck we have built and have put over $30,000 to date into. Truck was originally a Southern truck, that was shipped north. Added to it was a 42 Bentz Sleeper, Western Hauler style body with brand new paint and Rhino Lined bed, brand new LED lights, brand new tires, 3 new aluminum tool boxes, turbo wing, chrome bug deflector, chrome louvered grill, 13 chrome gangster drop visor, and dual 5 Chrome Stacks w/ heat shields, 7 Display XGody Trucker GPS, Long Distance CB, and a Brand New BOSS Bluetooth sound system.
Dont misunderstand this truck... It is nothing more than a glorified Dodge or Chevy or Ford F550 or 5500. We made it to look like a Semi tractor trailer. Under the new PA combination law, you are allowed to hook up to a trailer up to 10,000lbs with this truck and NOT NEED A CDL. So for all of you hotshot car haulers that pull gooseneck trailers, this is right up your alley. This truck is a one of a kind, PERFECT RUNNING truck with plenty on power, and reliable enough to haul across country and back without any fear.
This truck was only used to bring light loads of aluminum clip up to the mill in NY. Used once to pull a ranch style house for a friend, which did it with ease. Unfortunately, we have decided to use a larger truck now to take heavier loads, so this truck is just sitting here.
Minor tiny nicks and scratches here or there, little dings and dents... nothing you wouldnt expect out of a used 99. There is a small weld crack in the body back corner by the trailer hookup. Nothing another bead of weld cant fix. (SEE PICTURES)
Specs:
1999 Freightliner FL50 Custom Sport Chassis
5.9L Cummins Engine w, 192k+ Original Miles
5 Speed Manual Trans
16,000lb GVW, registered as a 26k lb Gross Combination
Door tag says 19k gvw, so the new owner can retitle it as that if needed. I filed a DOT M41 on this truck to legally drop the combination weight so I wouldnt need a CDL.
