Here’s a sharp looking, nicely equipped pothole patcher that is ready to work! As the pictures and video illustrate, this truck is in exceptional condition and is in solid operating condition!
The truck has easy maneuverability in the city and cruises very comfortably on the highway. The powertrain on this truck is commendable! It has quick ignition, it idles smoothly, and the truck accelerates remarkably quick. The transmission shifts properly, the suspension feels snug, the steering is straight, and braking is strong. An excellent feature of this powertrain is that it does not have any of the temperamental, and expensive, exhaust systems that later models come with! NO DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid), NO particulate filters, and NO regeneration cycles to deal with!
The Bergkamp FP5 pothole patcher system is also in good working order! The PTO, pump, and the hydraulic systems are working solid. The generator easily creates the require current, the dual heaters get that hopper nice and hot, and the tack tank heater warms up the emulsion pretty quick. All the hydraulic controls work properly, the auger, agitator, hopper doors, and compactor lift are also fully operational. Take a look at the video to see this patcher in action!
