Up for auction today is a 2000 GMC C6500 (Vin: 1GDJ6H1C8YJ516215) Engine-Caterpillar 3126, 246 HP, Transmission Automatic, Transmission Manufacturer Allison, Trans Model AT545N, 2 Axles, Front Axle Capacity-8100 Lbs, Rear Axle Capacity-17,500 Lbs, Rear End Ratio-3.90, Wheelbase-260, Suspension Type-Air Ride, Interior Level-Standard, Sleeper Type-N/A, Fuel Tank Capacity (Right)-50 Gal, Tire Size (Front)-295/75R 22.5, Tire Size (Rear)-295/75R 22.5, 6 Steel Wheels.
The truck starts and run without any issues at all. As you can see from the pictures the passenger seat is torn. There is minor rust throughout the truck, but no more than any truck of this year model in my opinion. The lift gate works, there is a minor leak in one of the hydraulic connections so when it use you might see a drip or two. The tachometer sometimes works, and sometimes does not, maybe a lose connection or a sensor going out. The truck has a new pull down door in the rear which works great!
Recommendations for vehicle. This was a fleet vehicle when I purchased it from Pepsi, so you know the maintenance was done, however I don"t know how long it has been out of service before they sold it. I would recommend changing the fluids and also getting an alignment. It drives straight, but the steering wheel is no centered. (not really noticeable when driving, but wanted to mention it.) The radio speakers are blown, one barely works so I would bring a wireless blue tooth speaker for your phone.
Truck is located in Monroe Ohio and is available for inspection or test drive. I would recommend this to any purchaser of any vehicle, but as you can see from my feedback, I try to do my best to list items to the best of my ability. I am still waiting for the title from Pepsi, but I was told it should come in the mail this week.
