This truck was a state owned truck for most of its life. I just had $4000.00 in engine work, a new starter, some new hydraulic lines, and safer newer tires put on the truck. This truck starts right up. The transmission and air brakes work great. It will pull almost anything. It has a rebuilt Detroit Diesel engine that will run forever. The millage gauge stopped working at 88,000 miles and it hasn"t been driven much since the new engine was put in. It does have rust but the frame is solid. It needs a new heater switch, the heater works but the knob to adjust the temperature broke. It is dirty inside and there are rips in the seat. I spent all my focus on making sure it was mechanically sound. The crane works great and I have lifted 11,000 pounds with it without a problem. It has not been inspected recently because I just used it on my property but the mechanic make sure it was ready for inspection a few weeks ago.
