Like new, Florida rust free step van runs and drives like a dream. Aluminum Grumman Olson 18" body drives great! The box area has been recently updated with good insulation and shiny new panels. Separate bathroom area with composting toilet. Honda EU3000IS inverter generator powers the 5,000 BTU A/C (with wall-mounted thermostat); circuit breaker panel and many wall electric outlets. Powertrain is the legendary million-mile Cummins turbo 4BT with intercooler backed by an Allison transmission. The engine has the desirable P-Pump mechanical injection. Only one wire runs the engine, no computer to worry about. Miserly engine that should yield better than 16 miles per gallon. Odometer shows about 75k miles. Actual mileage cannot be verified as in Florida, vehicles over 10 years old can be listed as Exempt on the title which is how it read when I bought it a few weeks ago. Bought it with the intention of living in it while working a new job too far to commute but I wasn"t picked for the position. So much for walking away from an interview confident that I got the job! Only drove it about 30 miles to the house where it has been sitting. It drove nice, good brakes, and the tires look almost new. Indoor/Outdoor carper on floor, it"s not glued so it can be removed easily.Cool camper/motorhome, locksmith, food truck or use it as a spare bedroom for your kids when they visit! Buy it now, fly into Orlando or Tampa and we"ll pick you up so you can drive it home (throw an air mattress is the back). You can also have a service pick it and and deliver to your location. This is a solid Florida truck that hasn"t been subjected to ice salt. I notice a couple of the top lights are busted but it still lights up like a Christmas tree. I think they"re high-intensity LED but not sure. I"m busy and haven"t had much opportunity to play with the step van. If my circumstances were different, I"d just get rid of everything and live in this van and travel the country. Oh, the vehicle only goes 55 MPH because I think Frito-Lay governed it down. Not sure but I think a mechanic could somehow change to increase the engine RPMs but at higher speeds the MPG would go down. I personally was okay with it only going 55 --- fast enough for me. The way they mounted the generator prevents the left side of the rear door to open. I imagine it could be belly mounted if that"s an issue. That"s all I know about that.Call or text with any questions. Beau 3five2, 3four1, onetwo3zero or [email protected]
