HELLO AND THANKS FOR VIEWING OUR 1997 INTERNATIONAL 4700 HEAVY DUTY CREW CAB UTILITY TRUCK. WE PURCHASED THIS TRUCK FROM A LOCAL MUNICIPALITY WHERE IT WAS RECENTLY TAKEN OUT OF SERVICE. TRUCK IS IN FINE WORKING ORDER , AS IT WAS ONLY TAKEN OUT OF SERVICE DUE TO AGE. TRUCK WAS KEPT ON A PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE REGIMENT SINCE NEW. ALL FLUIDS AND AND FILTERS WERE ALWAYS CHECKED AND CHANGED ON TIME. TRUCK WAS BRIEFLY INSPECTED AFTER USE EVERY DAY AND BROUGHT IN EVERY 30 DAYS FOR A MORE THOROUGH INSPECTION. ANYTHING THAT NEEDED ATTENTION WAS PROMPTLY TAKEN CARE OF RATHER THEN LEFT TO LINGER AND CAUSE MORE PROBLEMS. MUNICIPAL POLICIES ALSO KEPT THIS TRUCK IN GREAT SHAPE. THE FACT THAT THE TRUCK WAS FORBIDDEN FROM LEAVING TOWN LIMITS MEANT IT WAS NEVER DRIVEN HARD OR AT EXCESSIVE SPEEDS. TRUCK WAS STORED OUTDOORS BUT UNDER A LARGE CARPORT , HELPING IT STAY IN GREAT SHAPE. ALL CABINET BOTTOMS PASSED OUR HEAVY HAMMER TEST ( WE STRUCK THE CABINET BOTTOMS REPEATEDLY WITH A 5 POUND MINI SLEDGE TO TEST FOR STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY) THEY ARE ALL ROCK SOLID. NO HEAVY RUST OR ROT UNDERNEATH. JUST SOME LIGHT OXIDATION ON THE ROTORS AND DRIVESHAFT. AS FAR AS THE MECHANICAL CONDTION, MOTOR FIRES RIGHT UP WITH A QUICK HIT OF THE KEY, EVEN IN THE COLD. ENGINE RUNS GREAT AND DOESNT MAKE ANY ODD NOISES OR BLOW HEAVY SMOKE FROM THE EXHAUST. NO BLOWBY. NO DRAIN FROM THE BATTERIES , UNIT IS EQUIPPED WITH A POWER SHUT OFF MECHANISM, IT CAN SIT FOR MONTHS AT A TIME AND STILL FIRE RIGHT UP. TRANSMISSION SHIFTS RIGHT ON THE MARK. NO BANGING OR CLUNKING WHILE SELECTING GEARS OR DRIVING. TRUCK IS EQUIPPED WITH AIR BRAKES. NO AIR LEAKS. TIRES ARE ALL GOOD AND SUSPENSION SITS HIGH AND STRONG. TRUCK HAS A ONBOARD GENERATOR/INVERTOR , BOSS SCREW AIR COMPRESSOR AND A LIFTMORE POWER TRUCK CRANE. YOU CAN POWER AND RUN AIR TO YOUR JOBSITE, NO NEED TO LUG AROUND PORTABLE COMPRESSORS OR GENERATORS. THIS BAD BOUY CAN RUN A WHOLE INDUSTRIAL WORKSITE WITH EVERYTHING IT HAS RIGHT ONBOARD. ALSO WITH ONLY 103K MILES THIS L6 DIESEL IS JUST STILL A NEWBORN. THESE ENGINES HAVE BEEN KNOWN TO GO FOREVER WITH SOME SURPASSING THE MILLION MILE MARK. THIS TRUCK IS THE REAL DEAL. BUYER WILL NOT BE DISAPOINTED IT RUNS AND DRIVES EXCELLENT AND IS ROCK SOLID. IT WILL LAST ITS NEXT OWNER MANY MANY YEARS TO COME. If your going to buy it now , please have the funds already available. I have been buying and selling for over 10 years on and have been able to maintain 100% feedback the whole time. I do my best to honestly describe each vehicle. Over the years I have found that a few simple guidelines and policies can save my self from wasting time with fake buyers who bid for entertainment purposes only. Again if u buy the truck online , it severs the connections i have with the other people also interested, also it makes me have to hold it for 3 whole days. The truck is available to be seen pretty much 7 days a week upon appointment and for out of state buyers I can take as many additional pictures as requested and I can also provide a video of the vehicle starting and running. There are also Independent 3rd Party Auto Inspection companies that can come inspect it at your cost and give you an unbiased report, if you feel the need. My descriptions are honest but just like anything that anyone describes its still my opinion. All the vehicles I list are usually older and the factory warranty has long expired. Because of this, these units are sold 100% AS-IS. I do not have any policies that are different from any other legitimate auction site. Again if you buy it now , please be prepared to leave the deposit and follow thru with the deal. No low balling please do a little research and a one owner clean Diesel utility in this shape especially a heavy duty unit with all the extras worth this kind of money , it"s a life long investment.
