I bought this 24" box truck in 2009 from Frito Lay to use between Maryland and NY, spent an insane amount to have it perfect, inspected it with 232,622 then plans changed and I ended up parking it and was used for storage for 9 years, batteries were removed and it was never registered. Currently the truck has 232,655 (I used it for 33 miles). I started it up today (March 4) with fresh batteries and fuel, it took a few tries but started up and purred as if it was new. 33 miles and 9 years ago, all fluids, filters, muffler, turn signal lever, seats, wipers, headlights, sunvisors and many other things were replaced. Lift gate did not work when I purchased the truck but was fixed with everything else.
Because it has been sitting, the Box rear door has some corrosion and some of the wheels and wood will need to be repaired or replaced. Paint is also pealing from the side of the box. There are no leaks in the box and the lights in the box work. Tires are good and there is a new tire inside the box.
