Here is an ex-fire truck that is ready to be made into a custom hot shot hauler or other type of custom rig. Being this was a fire truck, you know it has always been flawlessly maintained. I was originally planning on keeping this for myself and making it into a 1 of a kind custom hauler. My plans included changing the spring suspension over to air ride and a building a custom hauler bed while still leaving room to install a 48 sleeper. My needs have changed and I no longer need a larger truck for transporting large loads. This is the perfect truck for a high horsepower build as it has a fully mechanical DT466 with an inline Bosch injector pump. The DT466 is a pretty much bullet-proof engine even when they are modified over 500hp. The torque these motors make is unreal. This particular truck as you can see is not only a crew cab but it has all kinds of custom aluminum fairings, fuel tank covers, battery boxes, steps and more. The custom front bumper hides a large Ramsey winch that appears to be atleast 12000lbs. I do have the remote control cable with this also. Also in the bumper are 2 sirens which can be wired as external speakers if you wanted. I"ve left the working beacons on as I was planning on changing the lenses to amber. It has aluminum Alcola Budd 22.5 Budd wheels with pretty deep tread on the tires, the tires do have a little age on them and should be useable for several thousand miles. The truck has a 33k GVW and air brakes, a 206 WB and about 101 CA. The mileage is only 110k. Inside is very clean and show minimal wear, the A/C is cold, it"s equipped with an electric high idle system for extended idling. Being a fire truck it has dual lantern battery chargers, a flexible work light on the dash and a large aluminum center console that could be re-purposed or removed. The truck starts instantly, runs strong and the Allison automatic shifts as it should. You just don"t see trucks like this. If you want something nobody has or something nobody can keep up with this is an excellent starting point. Don"t buy an F650 or Kodiak or Freightliner when you can get this. If you are a Florida resident you will be required to pay the state sales tax, tag transfer and title fees. If you reside outside the state of Florida and would like to come to Florida and pick the car up we can provide you with a 30 temporary tag but you will be required to pay 6% Florida sales tax, we will give you an affidavit for a credit on your sales tax when you register it in your home state. If you would like to have the vehicle shipped to you there will be no additional fees with the exception of your transportation costs.
