12/23/15 UPDATE
WE RECENTLY ADVERTISED THIS TRUCK ON EBAY, HOWEVER AT THE TIME WE HAD NOT TRIED TO START IT. THEREFORE TWO WEEKS AGO WE BROUGHT IT INTO OUR INTERNATIONAL TRUCK DEALERSHIP AND WE DID $1,900 WORTH OF WORK AND THE TRUCK NOW RUNS AND DRIVES, OUR MECHANIC WOULD RECOMMEND THAT THE TIRES AND RIMS BE REPLACED BUT OTHER THAN THAT HE SAYS IT STARTS; RUNS; AND GOES GOOD.
We purchased the International Truck Dealership in Plattsburgh New York August 1, 2013 and the assets included this 1948 KB-2 Antique International Truck. The owner of the dealership had rebuilt the unit back in 1989 and rebuilt the engine in 1990 and over the years the truck has been used as an advertising piece for the dealership. It has set out front for all to see as they drive by. We have decided that someone may be interested in buying this truck and making it like new again.
