Some of my friends call me the Isuzu guru, I"ve fallen in love with these trucks. My beautiful wife of almost 3 years thinks that 11 of them on our property is enough?? its what happens when you are the soon of a diesel mechanic. Anyway I enjoy breathing life back into vehicles that companies don"t have time to mess with. this is a good running ex tree company spray truck. I bought because it was not running well, the company I purchased it from had upgraded to a Mitsubishi fuso and parked the truck. It had water in the oil so I knew it was serious, pulled the drivers side head and found a crack between center 2 cylinders. Both sides cracked. I common problem when you over heat a vortec 350. I noticed before reassembly that the radiatior wasn"t flowing to well. I replaced the water pump and tested the thermostat. thermostat was stuck in the closed position. It runs very good and have put about 5 hours run time on top end repair, I used an oem Isuzu head gasket set and 2 new heads from a wrecked picked truck. engine could still use and idler pulled in near future but other then that seems ready for service.
rear tires need replace, but like I said I have 10 more so I think we could workout some new tread after sale. I will throw in a spare wheel and tire if sale price is over 2K I do believe this truck has a lot of life left, just don"t buy if you would have to take to dealer for any little problem. Its a very simple truck and its clean. thanks Jim 717-645-1674
