Another Perfect Brush Fire-Truck: The Classic Jeep M-715 “Five-Quarter”
Yes, this is the venerable Vietnam era Kaiser Jeep ‘Five Quarter’ Truck (the military variant of the Jeep Gladiator) retrofitted as a brush firetruck. We kept this solider/civil servant/local hero as a collector’s item but it is fully operational and ready for deployment if needed.
Summer is coming up, if you need a heavy duty 4x4 brush truck, here it is. It is perfect for rural municipalities and for private use as a ranch or brush truck. This truck is especially suited for rural and unpaved environments where its 4 wheel drive will come in very handy. If you’re not looking to use it in the field it’s great for a collection as well.
This five-quarter jeep has all the features of the vintage M-715 plus the following add-ons:
12 volt electrical system upgraded from the 24 volt military system Chevy 350 V8 engine replacing the standard V6 4x4 drivetrain Barton-American Fire Pump System158 Gal Tank Functional 2-way Radio
This vehicle was garage kept since we purchased it in 2013. The chassis has 17,510 miles on it, the newer V8 engine has less than that. Whether you plan on using her as a collector’s item or as an on duty brush-firetruck, she is proud to serve.
