1985 kenworth A on a 2001 chevy kodiak 6500 chassis, 3126e cat with a 545 allison auto, 3.90 rear, 4 wheel hyd, disk brakes with functioning ABS system. This truck just passed a state safety insp, a few months ago. All gauges and functions work as they should, I did not splice up the chevy wiring, I pulled it out complete and put it in the Kenworth. Peaple that don"t know trucks can"t tell it didn"t come this way,( and NO I won"t build you one.) The truck drives very nice, It has 400lbs of suitcase weights behind the fifth wheel under the aluminum and the weight of the fifth wheel, and removing some springs give it a good ride. It does NOT have a air system, I did build the rear light bar and put in a receiver @ 20 inches high, with a 7 way plug. I have all components to install a/c, evap is already in the hvac box, compressor is on engine. This is a road worthy truck that I have drove 700 to 800 miles since I built it.
