1998 HME Ferrara Aerial 1871 Ladder truck. 109 foot ladder. The odometer has been replaced and the current miles is estimated at about 120,000. The city of Topeka, KS bought a new Aerial ladder truck for about $1.3 million to replace this one. It was in use up until about June of last year 2020. Runs and drives good. Ladder works as it should. Apparatus was maintained every 5,000 miles. Cummins M-11 661/10.8 liter engine with Allison automatic transmission. Kubota 7.5 Onan commercial generator. Generator has an oil leak, possibly the oil pan gasket. Minor dings, scratches and some surface rust. Signs of some rust jacking evident on part of the frame towards the rear. Truck has Air Conditioning and Automatic snow chains. Good tires, rears recently replaced. New batteries. All the ladders and tools in the picture at the rear of the truck come with the truck.
