This is a brand new unit, still in the shipping container. It is primed and ready for paint of your choice. You will need to install and wire in lights and mount air lines and quick connectors for the standard hydraulic system on your truck. It comes with a full size light tower (no lights or light bar).
Full one year warranty from Metro.
This is a serious piece of equipment, as you can see compared to the Holmes. On the right truck, the recovery capabilities are on par with most 35 ton integrated trucks on the market, (if not better). The only difference is the shorter boom length, at 6 1/2 ft. extension. While perfectly capable in most winching scenarios, it will limit over-all lifting height, including decking. If you have a spare truck, you won"t be able to put together a better truck than this Metro DTU, for the money. We are currently working the one pictured, and am more impressed with it every time we take it out on a recovery job. As a dealer for Metro, we had a limited number of these DTUs available. This is the last 2018 model in stock, and needs to go, as the new ones are on their way. Next years models will be priced much higher due to the steel tariffs. Normal retail pricing on this unit with options is $67,500. A 15% steel tariff will push the price to $75,000 for the 2019"s.
