Inventory ID: 020525 Vehicle Description Up for your consideration is a Mobile Command Center build by Lynch Display Vans. Lynch celebrated their 40th year in business this year. While the business was first set out to build tool trucks for Snap-On Tool dealers, the have evolved into a custom converter building anything from a Emergency Response Vehicle to a SWAT Team Vehicle to a Mobile Clinic. They have produced over 20,000 Specialty Type Vehicles and repeat business has been one of the key aspects of their business.
This truck was build for the New Mexico State Police to be used for Natural Disasters, DWI Check Points, and Large Public Events. The unit was acquired new in 1999 due in part from a GSA Contract and the State of New Mexico. Everything is fully operational other than the Communication Devices, we are not familiar with the capabilities or operation of the Cell Phone Systems or the Phone Systems themselves. But please keep in mind the advancements made in Mobile Communication in the last 15 years. We have checked all 12 volt and 110 volts systems along with the 20KW Kohler Diesel Generator(3786 hours). It is equipped with 3 Coleman 13.5BTU Roof Top Air Conditioning/Heat Units and 3 Electric Top Kick Heaters, in fact this is a all electric unit with NO propane on board. All of the Scene Lighting and Emergency Lighting has been inspected and if fully operational, however we have disabled the Emergency Lighting and only verified Law Enforcement Organizations will be given the parts to make this system operational.
The unit is equipped with a Rear Briefing Area with bench seating, large table, and a Dry erase Board. The front has 5 individual work stations and easy access with a middle isle. Located in the middle, located at the main entry door of the unit, is a small Kitchenette with Sink, Microwave, Fridge, Coffee Pot, and several Closets for Storage. Additionally their is private toilet with a small hand washing sink. Both front and rear areas have Flatscreen Televisions with DVD players. All of the Interior Lights are 12 volt Fluorescent and there are Red covered bulbs for night time use.
Powering this unit is the tried and true 7.3 Powerstroke Diesel(40760 miles, 1426 hours), also known as the 444E International Motor. This is a Turbo Diesel that is extremely reliable but not a power house, you can expect speeds 55-65mph. There are no emission devices on this engine and you can expect this motor to start with long periods between use. The brake system is hydraulic and not air, but is does have air suspension and is equipped an HWH Hydraulic Leveling system that will totally suspend this vehicle if needed.
The Chassis itself is a Grumman Olson which is a Step Van with all Aluminum Body Construction. The cab area is equipped with a heater and air conditioner, heated power mirrors, cruise control, dash mounted fans, and driver entry door. It does have easy access to all electronics and has a rear view camera.
