Relisted (at no reserve) due to a non paying bidder!! Please do not bid unless you intend to buy this truck...1984 Ford f350 4X4 DIESEL carhauler FLATBED RAMPBED project 89k original miles.I bought this truck because it had low miles, diesel and 4x4 .It came from inland South Carolina and had belonged to an old man with failing health so it sat more than 10 years .It has had MANY new parts added this year .I drove it to TX from E.Tn and we had a wiring meltdown in AL.Since then things have gone down hill and so I sell as is where is at no reserve .Understand it is a project and needs work but a worthy project.Headlights failed first then went tank switch, running lights (I rigged them )fuel gauges ,dome light, indicator lights on dash .Maybe other circuits but IDK.It was running excellent until we reached Houston traffic then it started losing prime at first overnight then when it stopped now while it is going down the road.I think it needs a lift pump but IDK.Trans is stromg ,4x4 pulls good sometimes tricky to shift into low range but it is getting easier the more I use it ,as of today it shifted easy 3 times.New brakes front and rear including used booster ,vaccum pump,starter,alternator,6 used tires(matching size)Ac condenser(needs charge)It blew ice cold all summer but it was down for this trip...I LOVE this truck and had big plans but too many issues too far from home. My loss is your gain. It is at a friends vacation home so looking at it may be tricky,I cannot promise but if you want to see it I will try to arrange it.Clear Tn title...PLEASE ask ANY questions BEFORE you bid...THis is a worthy low mile project but a project indeed ...Winch pulls good, one lock on the boxes is bad.It has 2 tanks and a dump tank ,the dump tank has VERY old fuel in it ,needs to be drained.Good luck bidding! On Oct-22-15 at 14:08:29 PDT, seller added the following information:Ok well I ruled out the lift pump theory. They were only $25 and I swapped it out only to reveal the same problem. My next guess is the recently replaced injection pump because it is leaking around the throttle perhaps it is leaking air...????I am no diesel mechanic so I am just guessing, could be something simple too,,,,I will be in Rockport all day tomorrow if you want to look at it, after that I can make no promises. .WINNING BIDDER will have to make pick up arrangements at the convince of the homeowner(I promise it will be within reason)I will mail him the title and you can just pay him the balance in cash(preferred)Also I did notice a power steering leak today. I also failed to mention 1 circuit that stopped working ,the AC/defrost fan. .GOOD LUCK BIDDING!!!!
