Can"t figure out a use for it don"t want to continue to store it and would like to see it find purpose. Truly remarkable piece of equipment. I wish I could find a purpose for it. Very Special and incredibly Nice.
1987 International 67000+ ACTUAL MILES. Under roof ALL but the last 6 months of its Life. TRULY Handles and shifts as if it were New looks new too.
RIMS are all chromed
ENGINE IS PERFECT. DETROIT DIESEL 6V92TA (SILVER EDITION) Spotless pristine condition with NO leaks at all from anywhere. AND YES it runs and does not smoke. this engine is barely broken in. a true million mile engine. MATED TO THE bullet proof ALLISON HT 755 5 speed automatic.
DRIVERS CAB (which does allow entry into rear) is without blemish from leather black seats to door panels to headliner.
LIGHTS AND GAUGES AC AND FRIDGE...All of these were functioning when parked.
NEW BATTERY (8d)
TIRES. Are as new. No cracks in sidewalls nor any evidence of checking.
LADDER TO ROOF To enormous custom built Aluminum Diamond Plate Storage container. ALSO ON ROOF Weinguard Antenna that cranks up from the interior.
FRONT AND BACK Detachable High Intensity Halogen staging lights.
EXTERIOR STORAGE BEYOND BELIEF BOTH SIDES OF TRUCK 2+FEET DEEP.
All of these storage compartments are lit. Each equipped with stainless handles and locks which are each accessible with ONE KEY. That"s right. No fumbling through a dozen keys,
EQUIPPED WITH 7500KW ONAN DIESEL GENERATOR THAT ALSO WORKED WHEN PARKED. Truck is wired throughout (professionally with labels to switches and relays) Has Breaker Box to 100 amp service. Has on board battery charger and conditioner. there is a large inverter as well. I am not sure that it is functioning.
AC OUTLETS as well as several (8) 12VDC (CIGARETTE) TYPE also distributed throughout the cab as well as the rear area.
INTERIOR OF STEEL BOX. Has a desk and as well an additional seating for three with Belts. Contains the fridge (small apt size) Desk has lamps as does the driver"s compartment. Has two areas that could be used for sleeping. much as a berth on a train. there are no mattresses. there is an entire section within that is stainless steel from floor to ceiling. with electric vents and storage below sink level. yes there is a sink and faucets. But no pump or potable water tank nor storage tank. lines are all there. but these tanks were removed by The Fire Authority from whom I purchased the truck. ALL AREAS OF THE INTERIOR other than the stainless kitchen area including Berths can be isolated wholly or partially: by roll up aluminum doors that are nice and all function and also include locking stainlees hardware and handles. AND OF COURSE. The rear is equipped with numerous overhead lighting fixtures (12VDC fluorescent) ALL of which are working. INTERIOR HEIGHT IS AT 7FT.
SUMMARY. TRUCK is turnkey and it is spectacular and truly one of a kind.
A work Truck an awesome motorhome, A food Truck. ..Bug Out Vehicle a Business marketing or Promo device you name it. But it was obviously seldom used. It honestly handles like a Brand New Truck. THERE IS AN AWNING THAT IS BRAND NEW. PROBABLY OPENED ONLY ONCE. BY ME. That speaks volumes. I was told that this machine, Custom ordered and built for the Orange County Fire Department cost over $475,000.00 (1987 dollars) to put on the map. There are no computers, no plastic and no crap on this machine. IT ALSO HAS BEEN SERVICED within the last 1500 miles. New correct fluids and filters including engine and transmission. Bid in confidence. This Truck is turnkey. TLC IS NOT IN THE VOCABULARY. Straight Forward anywhere in America.

Thank You for wading through this fact laden tour of this Machine. But I owe it to you, myself and the machine. I know I will never find anything as perfect as this again. but I simply have to let her go. No disappointments here. you will never be sorry.
