I got this 1998 Kenworth T2000 for sale after 4 years of use..This was my first truck as an owner operator and it was good to me ...i pulled a dry van and my loads were 99% light. .drove the eastern 38 states the whole time..Selling because im going into the bar business.
long story short ive done a ton of work on the truck with a ton of receipts to prove it.
as for the cons :
- truck might need a paint job depending on your preference
- the hood is in bad shape after hitting a few deer prior to putting the cow catcher in the front..
- fridge is humming but not getting cold
- rigmaster works with good heat but the alternator is froze from sitting for a while..
as for the pros:
- refreshed the whole front end from springs, shocks, king pins, tie rods and bushings...only thing left is the steering shaft
- upgraded to the newer G400 rear suspension
- newer both rears
- all sensors on the motor and a lot more..
this is still a very good truck for the money with the CUMMINS N14 525hp and 13 speed transmission..
