Note: Truck was sold but two days prior buyer pickup last week the truck would not start back after I moved it that morning. Turns over but not run. I added fuel nothing...checked the fuel filters and found some air...purged the lines and was unable to get the truck to run. I don"t have the software and I don"t have a relationship with the dealer. I have too many irons in the fire and need it gone. I ordered a few sensors online and will replace Mon/Tues but if it doesn"t fix it then I"m done and don"t have time to continue it will be sold as is where is.
I even fixed the leaks and hose.

1999 International 4900 with 8.7L DT530 (320hp/950 ft. lbs torque) and Allison 5 speed 3060 series. Crazy power for a rollback. 4.44 rear end with near new Hercules 275/7022.5 tires all around. 101k original miles / 6k hours. 21ft steel DualTech bed. All new air ride rear end.
more info to come...
-8ft two door boxes on both sides (Trash can and holder on passenger side)
-semi headache rack for chains and timber storage-custom truck... fire truck chassis 14k front 23k rear (rear converted from spring to air ride with new Polyurethane bushings on torsion bar. New shocks bags bolts and all.)In addition, the purpose for the longer wheelbase and semi headache rack is due to the slide locker which allows for the same deck space as 24ft bed if loading a long wheel base truck or sprinter van or trailer. 12k bed 4k wheellift 8ft wide. Low design. Very nice setup!!!-New 10000 lb hydraulic winch-New air ride driver seat /passenger is a bench seat with under storage.-Upgraded dash with wood vinyl laminate on some panels-New led lightsUpgraded L-arms with chevron tire pans with locking pin. Has grids for sling tow-New wear pads on bed and New bushings on wheellift. New control handles.-Bed 80% rebuilt. A cylinder or two will need New seals and maybe a hose replaced.-Paint is ok just some chips and a crack or two. Some holes from where the lights were mounted but vinyl wrap can cover most of these blemishes.-New fluids and filters all the way through.
I also left the rear tow bracket (shown in pic) that"s welded to the chassis so you have strong pull point - chassis is double frame. More truck than bed but my though was it was always serviced to the T and you can scale anything the bed can handle. Pull anything you hook to while climbing a mountain.
Cruise, heated mirrors, exhaust brake
Allison 3060 - 4 Speed (1 to 1) with 5 gear (.75 to 1 overdrive) or you can add ,which is a software unlock from any license Allison dealer, 6 gear (.65 to 1 double overdrive). I geared the truck for the 5th so when loaded the Allison doesn"t kick down from 6th to 5th when climbing a grade then upshift causing heat = wear. If you add the 6th gear it can be an economy gear when lightly or unloaded. Very well though out ask any Allison mechanic.
Motor is Solid and Transmission as well.
