2005 Freightliner 26" box truck with Trinity Industries Saf-Stop TMA portable crash cushion. This truck is set up to meet all state DOT and federal requirements for a portable crash cushion or truck mounted attenuator. Used on one project in Florida, never been hit or damaged - the attenuator is in pristine as new condition. CAT engine with 155,500 miles and standard transmission. Attenuator and flashing arrow controls all mounted in the cab so ONE driver can operate everything. A flashing arrow board is mounted on the rear of the truck so that the truck can serve as both an attenuator and a flashing arrow board. There is a swing away directional sign mount that swings out of the way of the rear door for loading from the rear. The van body has a custom built side door (built by a truck body specialist) for safely loading signs ,traffic barrels, and cones from the side of the truck away from traffic. The 26" box provides huge secure storage for traffic control equipment or any other needed construction equipment. Flashing lights on the front of the box on both sides. This is a really well thought out and designed truck built by a large southern traffic control company that owns dozens of them. Tires are in good condition as well as the truck.
