EXTRA TALL MODEL 10 FT TOTAL HEIGHT, 25 FOOT TOTAL LENGTH, 16 FT CARGO AREA. NO WRAPS OR LETTERING. EXCELLENT TIRES ON ALUMINUM RIMS, FACTORY SHELVES CURRENTLY INSTALLED. BUILT IN REAR DOOR SECURITY LOCK. REGULARY MAINTAINED. SECOND OWNER WITH ALL RECORDS LAST 100,000 MILES. (2) ONE YEAR OLD BATTERIES. FRONT AND REAR A/C UNITS (MAY NEED FREON AND/OR WORK ASA/C HAS NOT BEEN USED IN A YEAR). THIS TRUCK WAS BROUGHT IN FOR A WATER PUMP AND RADIATOR AT THE END OF 2015 AFTER A LEAK APPEARED. THE TRUCK HAS NEVER OVER HEATED. UPON REPLACEMENT OF THE RADIATOR, WATER PUMP AND FAN CLUTCH THE TRUCK WAS DRIVEN 10 MILES AND ANOTHER SMALL LEAK WAS NOTICED. A HEAD GASKET WAS NEEDED AND AUTHORIZED TO BE INSTALLED WITH NEW BOLTS AND MACHNINE SHOP RESURFACING. UPON COMPLETION OF THE REPAIRS THE TRUCK DID NOT HAVE NORMAL POWER IT HAD BEFORE THE REPAIRS AND THE TRUCK WAS REFUSED. THE SHOP WAS GIVEN TWO WEEKS TO FIGURE WHAT THEY DID WRONG AND THEN BROUGHT TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR TROUBLE SHOOTING AND REPAIR. THE DEALERSHIP PREFORMED THE FOLLOWING IN AN ATTEMPT TO RESTORE NORMAL POWER: REBUILT FUEL INJECTOR PUMP($3500), TESTED INJECTORS, SENT HEAD TO SECOND MACHINE SHOP FOR RESURFACING AND VALVE LEAK TEST.THE HEAD WAS REBUILT WITH VALVES AND SEALS. THE TURBOCHARGER WAS REPLACED.THE ALLISION TRANSMISION REPRESENTIVE WAS CONSULTED AND CONFIRMED TRANSMISSION IS NORMAL. THEIR LAST REPAIR WAS REPLACEMENT OF (6) INJECTOR TIPS($30 EACH) WHICH RESTORED THE TRUCK POWER BACK TO NORMAL. THE CONCLUSION AFTER NINE MONTHS IN THE SHOP WAS THAT THE ORIGINAL SHOP SET THE HEAD DOWN ON A HARD SURFACE WITH THE INJECTORS STILL INSTALLED RESULTING IN DAMAGE TO THE INJECTOR TIPS. THE DAMAGE AFFECTED THE SPRAY PATTERN. A DEFECTIVE SPRAY PATTERN APPARENTLY DOES NOT SHOW UP WHEN INJECTORS ARE POP TESTED. DAMAGED INJECTOR TIPS ARE RARE AND IT DROVE THE DEALERSHIP CRAZY IN THE TROUBLE SHOOTING PROCESS. THE TRUCK NOW RUNS BETTER THAN EVER. THE NEW OWNER WILL BENFEIT FROM ALL OF THE NECESSARY AND UNNECESSARY REPAIRS.I HAVE IN WRITTING THAT EVERYTHING IN THE BLOCK LOOKS PERFECT AND THAT THE FACTORY CROSS HATCHING IN THE CYLINDERS ARE STILL VISIBLE. THE TRUCK SHOULD SERVE SOMEONE WELL FOR YEARS AS THESE TRUCK OFTEN LAST OVER 400,000 MILES. I HAVE ALL OF THE DEALERSHIP INVOICES AND A STATEMENT OUTLINING ALL OF THE DESCRIBED WORK ABOVE AND I CAN PROVIDE A CONTACT NUMBER TO THE DEALERSHIP SERVICE MANGER FOR VERIFICATION. UNFORTUNATELY FOR ME THE PROCESS TOOK 9 MONTHS AND DURING THE 7TH MONTH I DECIDED TO PURCHASE A NEW TRUCK. MY LOSS CAN BE YOUR GAIN.
