T800 Kenworth Logging Log Truck Caterpillar C15 6NZ Single Turbo 600 HP Low Miles
This is a 2000 glider kit with aproximately 700,000 miles on the truck itself,
C2A 6NZ single turbo remanufactured motor with 253,565 miles( NOT AN INFRAMED MOTOR )
Two pictures were added for current ECM readout, Note that this motor was not worked hard at 24% load factor.
This truck has been used for short runs to the mill and has had a very easy life and has been well taken care of.
Here are the particulars:
Truck:
2000 T800 Kenworth, 238 wheel base with custom imron paint, tapered stinger, LED lights throughout truck and trailer,
Frame and front bunk were just sand blasted and painted, Polished aluminum wheels inside and out, 11 R 24.5 Tires.
Recent Work:
New Toyo front tires
Air conditioning just serviced
New exhaust including elbows and guards
New Back light bar
New cab guard
front end rebushed and new style spring hangers added ( no bolt through bottom of spring hanger.
New king pins
New 5 core radiator, New 11 blade fan, Horton hub rebuilt
New air to air
Motor and drive train:
At aproximately 450,000 miles the Cat 3406C and 14718B transmission were taken out and replaced.
The motor was purchased from Peterson Caterpillar in Redding Ca.
This is a C2A 6NZ single turbo remanufactured motor with 253,565 miles( NOT AN INFRAMED MOTOR ) Cruise control added.
A 7CZ 600HP file was added at aprox 160,00 miles, a C16 Turbo, a Bullydog ceramic manifold, five core radiator and a new air to air unit.
( NOTE: the file was added to increase the fuel mileage and performance,
THIS MOTOR WAS NOT RAN ABOVE 1000 DEGREES AND WAS DOWNSHIFTED WHEN ABOVE 900 DEGREES )
The Tansmission is an 18 speed 18918B and was installed with the motor.
The Rears are Rockwell 46160 double lockers with 390 gear ratio and Hendrickson air ride suspension.
Interior:
Excellent condition throughout.
Trailer:
89 Peerless spring trailer with Vulcan electronic scales, Polished aluminum wheels inside and out and 11 R 24.5 Tires.
Trailer was sand blasted and painted.
Trailer was rebushed including the compensator teflon.
Trailer cord, male connector and air hoses were replaced and new flap hangers added.
