This truck was built by myself at my shop we used three trucks and a school bus took all the best parts and or options and put it into this truck. It has air ride. When the PTO. is engaged it dumps the air to the rear and the truck squats down to give an amazing low rake for a truck with 22.5 tires making it easy to load cars with low ground clearance. The 22.5 tires and air brakes make this truck get amazingly better staying power during loading and recovery. ( the bigger tires get better traction and both rear axles lock when the E-brake is applied.) therefore the truck stays put better the 22.5 tires give me almost three times the amount of miles compared to the 19.5"s I ran on my other truck. I operated my business in the endless mountain region and brakes are a very important consideration the hydraulic brakes on my other tow trucks had to be replace annually at a cost of about 550.00 per axle with this truck its about 800.00 to do the whole truck and they again last about three times longer and have better braking than the hydraulic brakes found on most rollbacks of this size. and the ABS system has never caused a problem. unlike the other hyd. systems.the truck has a 6+1 transmission and goes down the road at 65 MPH only turning 1350 rpms letting this truck get about 12 mpg . when I built this truck a lot of consideration went into the cost of operating this unit it saved me a ton of money compared to my other trucks the cost per mile was less than 1/2 of the other trucks I was running. I was forced to retire for health reasons and wasn"t planning on selling this unit it pains me greatly to have to do so but finances require me too. because this truck is under 26,000 GVWR you do not need a CDL to drive it I am sure that who ever ends up with this truck they will be very satisfied with the operation and the ease of using it.
this truck is listed and for sale locally we reserve the right to end the auction at any time
