You are bidding on a 1999 UD 2600 truck. This truck weighs around 13,000 lbs when empty, so it has a 10,000 lb capacity. It can be driven anywhere just like a regular rental truck. 26,000 GVW (gross vehicle weight) is the limit and anything above that weight and you"d need a commercial license. The UD 2600 was designed to be right under that limit so it can be driven with a regular driver"s license. This truck is also equipped with a tow package so that you can also tow another 10,000 lbs. I used the truck to move from the west coast to the east coast. I put 60,000 miles on it, did several trips with it and it never let me down!I had the Alison transmission rebuilt and also installed a new oil cooler 4,000 miles ago. Paid $5,000 for the transmission alone. The U.S-made, high quality Firestone tires are in very good condition. Mechanically---it runs perfectly and starts every time. The truck was recently tuned. It has a working lift gate with a 1500 lb limit. It has a cracked windshield and spray-paint on the left side of the box that has been painted over, otherwise it is aesthetically decent. The ABS light just came on so it will probably need a set of brake shoes. The AC does not work.I"m selling it because it is no longer needed. Please contact me if you have any questions.
