Up for auction is a Vintage 1969 KENWORTH W923 daycab with a 6-71 Supercharged Screamin Detroit Diesel with a Spicer 8516 Twin Stick 16 speed Transmission and 5.29 ratio gear Rockwell rears. It has Super Single tires on the front and 10.00 x 20 tires on the rear. It has a 250 wheelbase which is great for a Rat Rod show truck with that long low look. This truck does run and drive and it takes a REAL man or very tough woman to drive it. This aint some sissy truck with DEF and Clean Idle. Its old school tough and badazz. Plain and simple. It only has 146,645 ORIGINAL miles on it. YES it is correct mileage. It was originally a concrete truck that was later turned into a flatbed hay hauler here for the farm which is why it is such low mileage. So that also means that it has never had a fifth wheel and the frame wasn"t abused by pulling so much weight. The pump and PTO for the concrete tank are actually still in place. Its a Dynapower pump mounted behind the front bumper. The motor runs very well, the Air pressure builds up nice (see pictures) and the brakes do work. It is a Classic Kenworth with a great ole Detroit sound that deserves to be dressed up like a real show truck. I have some videos of it running and driving which i will try to post on you tube later today. The truck is sold in as is condition and with NO RESERVE! There is also an identical parts truck available for anyone interested. Good luck bidding on a nice old Classic KWhopper.
