RARE Collectible 1983 Kenworth W900 long nose conventional semi truck tractor. Man, do you remember Smokey and the Bandit, this is the type of trucks that was on that show. He actually drove a 1974 Kenworth W900 A model with the rounded fender mounted headlights, this is a B model W900, but it is the first year of the B model and the A model hood will fit on this year only. This is a VERY desirable truck, when these trucks are done up they bring huge amounts of money. It has a long frame, but could you imagine if this was stretched another 3-4 foot. Here is the way I see it, If you got this truck and spent about $5000 to $6000 on it, you could have a $35,000-$40,000 truck. Right now on Facebook there are a set of WTI double hump fenders for $850, there is a set of 96” tall 6” bevel cut stacks for $750 and it comes with 5 light bars, one is for the air cleaner, there is a guy selling a complete set of nice super polished aluminum buds for $1000 obo. Then you could redo the seats for about $700, add carpet for $200, add lights for and rear chrome for another $1000, then some heavy detail and polishing for another $1000 and this truck would be parade ready. It has a 400 Big Cam Cummins diesel engine, truck is showing 900,xxx miles, but I was told this has an out ove the frame major with only a about 100,000 miles, I am trying to get paperwork on that. It has a Fuller Eaton RT-11609 9 over transmission and 3:73 geared rears. This truck runs and drives fantastic and it is super cool OLD SCHOOL style. I would love to see this truck all done up, but it is very nice as it is. It has air ride and an air ride seat, so it has a decent ride for an older truck. Tires are in good condition. I got this truck on a trade from my buddy. This truck needs a good detail inside and out, but this is a GOOD truck and it will make someone a dandy parade truck. Hey folks this is a 32 year old truck, it is not a show truck BY ANY MEANS, but I do not want show truck money for it either. I have seen these trucks sell for as high as $120,000 right here on Ebay. This trucks value is not measured like a new truck, this is a 69 GTO Judge to the muscle car guys, the cool of this truck is off the charts, but please don"t expect a new truck or a show truck, these trucks are getting near impossible to find. It needs a new sleeper mattress, about $150 here on Ebay. My buy it now is $15,000, I would also entertain a trade for something, let me know what you have 812 255 O284
