This is a 1954 GMC Seagrave GMC Fire Truck.
New Parts : It has 2 brand new batteries in it. They were put in 1 week ago. It also has brand new wires, regulator, cap and rotor, sparkplugs, solenoid. It has fairly new tires and really have not put any miles on them. Also the starter is remand completely and costed about 800.00 to do.
This truck is in very good condition for its age. It is a running truck. The tires are in great condition also considering there age and most of them are either weather checking or split. There is 17,471 original miles, this truck does not have 6 digit odometer. This truck has been garage kept for its entire life. The only time this truck has seen the road is when there was an emergency call and used for parades. All the chrome has been cleaned and shined as best I could get. The truck has been cleaned by hand. There is one board on the back, on the floor that is starting to bow up. Rims are very nice and has very little scratches. The interior is still in good condition. The inside is a little dirty but I am still in the mist of cleaning it. It will be cleaned fully inside and out except the engine compartment. It has a Straight 6 in it. All the lights and sirens do work and look nice. It is missing the axes and one small fire extinguisher. All the hoses and ladders are there and in nice condition. This truck still has the 3 back wood pieces to cover the back as seen in pic. It has 2 extra flags in the back box. All the gauges do work. The title is an Ohio title and is clear.
