1977 Chevrolet K30 / Pierce Mini Pumper. Very nice clean 1977 Chevrolet with 24,655 Miles. Equipped with the 5.7L 350 Chevrolet motor, and 4 Speed Manual Transmission, Power Steering, and Power HydroVac brakes. Dual rear wheels and a Gross Vehicle Weight of 11,000 Lbs. Starts and runs great, Clutch feels good, Brakes are good. I just installed new fan and power steering belts and 4) New Monroe heavy duty Gas Magnum shocks. Pierce advertised this series of Mini Pumpers as there Mustang 4 X 4 Attack Pumpers a scaled down concept of there most powerful pumpers. Great for providing protection at Airports, Shipping docks, Shopping centers, and Large industrial complexes. Equipped with the Waterous 400 GPM CPK-3 PTO operated water pump. This having a PTO operated water pump gives it the capabilities to Pump and Roll. Pump is backed up by a 250 gallon Fiberglass water tank. The Pierce fire body is entirely Aluminum construction with optional high side cabinets on drivers side. There is an electrically operated booster reel on top passenger side (currently no hose on it), Duo Safety 2 section 12" ladder, and 2) 8 Foot lengths of 2 1/2 suction hose. Pump does work and water tank has no leaks. Also included in the standard Pierce options is a Koening mechanical 8,000 Lb. PTO operated winch mounted on front. I just installed a NEW 100 foot 3/8 all steel winch cable on it. Winch works great does have a small drip of fluid. If your in need of a good versatile truck to provide fire protection for your Business, Ranch, or Home this is the truck you need. Starts and runs great and still capable of providing more than adequate fire protection. Could also still be used by a small low budget Fire Department. Cab and front end are in good condition with some very minor rust in a couple places. Floors, Cab Corners, Rockers, Doors, and Fenders are all solid. Interior is super clean and looks new. An original Federal Model 12X TwinSonic light bar on top, New Unity spot light, Front flashing Red lights in grille, 2) Red Whelen rotators on rear upper corners, and 2) Unity AG style spot lights on rear rail. Also a Galls Street Thunder electronic siren controller with speaker in grille. Truck was originally built for a Fire Department in Texas and spent most of it"s life there. The Texas Fire Department sold it about 8 years ago to a small Fire Department in New York state that was a low call volume department. Originally Pierce painted the truck the Hi-Vis Yellow color, when it was purchased by the New York department they repainted it the current Red color. You can still see some of the Hi-Vis Yellow color on some of the edges. All in All this is a great truck that has a lot of life left in it. Whether to continue to use for it"s commercial fire protection capabilities or for a personal truck it can fill theses roles. It does have some minor nicks and scratches typical with the use this type of vehicle would receive, and there is some minor damage to the passenger door apparently from mirror being caught on a door frame backing in please reference pictures.
