The Perfect Brush Firetruck, 1981 GMC 7000 firetruck with clear title: We have several brush trucks purchased for our private collection. We purchased this one from the original owner, the Roseville, Kansas Fire Department, with 11,045 miles. We put 16 miles on it to get it to its current location. It has been garage-kept by both by the original owners and by us since we purchased it. It has not been used since purchase and is in excellent condition. We are disposing of the collection… now is your chance!
Summer is fast approaching, if you need a heavy duty 4x4 brush truck, this is the one. It is perfect for rural municipalities (such as the original owner) or for private use as a ranch or brush truck. This truck is especially suited for rural and unpaved environments where its 4 wheel drive will come in very handy. If you’re not looking to use it in the field it’s great for a collection as well.
The primary features are as follows:
    · GM 427 Heavy Duty Engine w/automatic transmission · Commercial Cab with Rescue Body · Side Mount Pump Panel with Foam Proportioning System · 500 Gallon Tank · 250 GPM PTO driven pump · Ramsey front-winch · Utility Compartments w/diamond plate aluminum · 2 compartments with slide-out shelves · Rockwell Transfer Case · Coleman Front Axel unit · Ladders and booster reel hose · Full gauge and lighting control panel · Kussmaul Auto-Eject System
All the lights are working except for the water level lights on the pump panel. All gauges are functional except for the suction gauge on the pump panel and the voltmeter on the printed circuit dash panel. The tank and pump were working and in use when we purchased it. We have not used the pump since we bought, though it was kept inside we did drain the tank and line to protect them from freezing.
