Up for bidding is our 2002 Ford F550 Wrecker. Its got a Vulcan Twin Line Bed. 8 Ton Telescopic boom. Truck runs well, we primarily used it for winter recovery work. Engine has 150k, no paperwork to confirm that. Currently its is 2wd but its really 4wd. We have the front driveshaft disconnected. The front differential needs a rebuild, pinion bearing went bad. Since January, the vehicle has had new winch lines replaced, sling straps, rear pads, rotors, and calipers, 6 new tires, emergency brake cables, turbo pedestal seals, oil cooler, water pump, and serpentine belt. It throws a check engine light on under load for the IPR, it does not hinder performance. The truck is a beast in the snow in 2wd.
The Vulcan bed could use valve bodies in the future due to controls sticking. Once again, it does not affect operation. This bed comes with the wheel lift scoops, which are designed to be used with out wheel lift straps. All the lights work, has 4 Led flood lights. A/C needs to be recharged.
Truck is 16 years old, but it is a truck work horse. We are replacing it with a flatbed. We have the truck for sale locally. If you have zero feedback please contact us before bidding. Truck is sold as is, with no warranty. No equipment other than safety chains goes with the truck.
