Truck history: Truck was originally purchased by $alem Leasing Company in Wilmington NC. It was traded in to Freightliner dealer with about 650K on it. The Freightliner dealer wholesaled it to Heartland Truck & Equipment in KC, MO. They sold truck to Propane Resources & who depreciated it out for 5 years. Heartland equipment traded back for the truck & wholesaled it to me, b/c they had too much inventory at the time. Bet they wished they had that inventory today!
I can tell it"s had a new head, b/c it"s rusty, so I did a little digging & got following information from lady at Salem Leasing. Because the truck had been $old it was out of the system, therefore she couldn"t print this information, b/c it was encrypted, so she just read information off to me. These are the main new parts. I"m not putting every little gasket etc...
In Nov 2013 at 609K the truck wouldn"t build oil pressure. Found that it had spun main bearing on #1 cylinder. Basically did a full "inframe" w/new crank, head, rods/main bearings, cylinder kits & pistons, oil cooler etc... While they were already there put on new turbo & clutch as well. In the $ervice notes said: "Due to normal wear on 609K truck went ahead & put in new clutch including pilot bearings/clutch brake etc... This was a total of $13,500 in parts & $4,500 labor done "in house" or labor would"ve obviously been much more... All this being said, truck has 180K on "in-frame" as well as new turbo & clutch...
Please feel free to call me with any questions. I usually end up $elling a good majority of the equipment that I list on over the phone before the auction ends. Check my feedback & you"ll see that I"m going to SHOOT YOU STRAIGHT!!! I HAVE THE TITLE IN HAND & IT"S READY TO GO!!!
I reserve the right to end this auction at anytime as the trucks are for sale locally.
Thanks for looking,
