A 1960 American LaFrance Dodge Power
Wagon V-8 4X4 brushtruck, running and
driving, showing 9,000 miles!
American LaFrance came to the call in 1959
when they partnered with Dodge to build a
do it all multi use fire truck that could tackle
all types of fires in all types of settings.
The already legendary Dodge Power Wagon
configured in a short wheel base four wheel
drive with V-8 power was proven a winner
truck of choice for also legendary fire truck
boss American LaFrance to produce these
trucks for only two years, 1959 and 1960.
It is believed that this truck was in service at
one time for Mid West Steel and later retiring
from service with the Bauxite Fire Dept. in
Arkansas.
Abut as good as it gets for a great restoration
