Well this is a 2000 International 9900 sleeper tractor with a 2ws 3406E Cat motor, 10 speed transmission, 3.55 rears we are fairly sure, 22.5 lopro rubber on polished aluminum wheels, and air ride, 250 WB. The engine runs like a top, transmission shifts smooth, clutch holds, releases, works excellent, no excessive vibrations, rears are quiet, brakes are 50%, tires are fair, runs out and drives very well. Not at all a bad old truck. Definitely needs a good cleaning, a new bumper, few little items but darn sure worked well for us and did the job.
So why are we selling it? Well, we bought it because we needed another truck for harvest, it checked out good, and I thought perfect. I just flat didn"t consider that every single person working for us here on the place might suffer severe Red Oval disease to the point that to drive an International could cause such a severe flair up of symptoms that every single one of them were scared to death of driving this truck. The fear of this truck was so severe in fact that even my own son felt he might hear angels calling should he drive it - so guess who got to drive it. Yep me, I survived because I am old and as a younger man was exposed to Internationals occasionally and evidently developed an immunity.
